CEO Statement on Honoring Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

As Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg lies in state in the U.S. Capitol today, the first woman in history to be given the honor, Tiffany Gardner, CEO of ReflectUS released the following statement in honor of the 107th Justice of the Supreme Court and her long legacy:

“We honor Justice Ginsburg today as we continue the fight for equal representation in government and a leadership that is reflective of the hopes and dreams of all Americans. In her life and her career, Justice Ginsburg demonstrated how political representation by women of diverse backgrounds is essential to move our country forward. When women lead, we bring critical perspective, experience and insight, contributing to a greater diversity of ideas and debates that ultimately lead to better decisions and public policy outcomes. Justice Ginsburg is one of the greatest examples of what can be accomplished when women lead.”

“Justice Ginsburg will forever be a role model, an icon and a champion for little girls and women, but also for anyone looking to create a more equal and just world. As she is laid to rest, we take up her mantle and continue the fight. We will continue to fight to support women as they run for office and step into leadership positions — a fight made possible because of the incredible legacy of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.”
